Quickstart

  1. Sign uptradeloper.com/signup — takes 30 seconds.
  2. Set your business name and Google review link — the link is what we'll send customers. You can find it in your Google Business Profile, or by Googling your business and clicking "Write a review".
  3. Email yourself a test — from your dashboard. This is the moment you see what your customer will see. If your test never arrives, email us.
  4. Subscribe (Starter $9/month or Pro $29/month) — this unlocks sending to real customers. Cancel anytime.
  5. Add a customer after each job or visit — takes 10 seconds. Tick the consent box (confirms the customer agreed to be contacted). We email the review request automatically, plus a polite follow-up reminder.

Common questions

My customer didn't get the SMS. What now?

Most often: the phone number was typed wrong or the customer's carrier filtered it as spam. Email us and we'll check the Twilio logs and tell you exactly what happened.

How do I cancel? Will I lose my data?

Settings → Cancel subscription. One click. Your account stays active until the end of your billing period — we do not lock you out the moment you cancel like some tools do. If you re-subscribe later, your customers and history are still there. You can also pause for the season instead of cancelling.

I want a refund.

We honor a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee. Open the Settings page and tap "Request 30-day money-back refund" (or go directly to /refund-claim) within 30 days of your first payment — we process it via Paddle immediately and funds land back on your card in 5–10 business days. After 30 days you can still cancel anytime; future charges stop but the past month is non-refundable.

My customer replied STOP. Did I do something wrong?

No. STOP is the standard US opt-out word for SMS. We auto-mark them as opted-out so they won't be texted again. Doesn't reflect on you, doesn't go to any regulator.

How do I find my Google review link?

Three options: (1) Google your business name → click "Write a review" → copy that URL. (2) From your Google Business Profile dashboard → "Get more reviews" → copy the share link. (3) Any link starting with g.page/, maps.app.goo.gl, or google.com/maps/place/ works. You can test the link using the "Test the link" button in the Get Started wizard (/setup/link) before sending real ones.

I forgot my password.

Use the password reset link. If the email never arrives, check spam. If still nothing, email us with the address you signed up with.

Can I edit the SMS message?

Yes. The Settings page has 4 pre-written templates ("friendly", "brief", "after tough job", "repeat customer"). Pro users can write their own — pick "Write my own" from the template chooser. Required placeholders are {{name}}, {{business_name}}, and {{review_link}}.

Are my customers' phone numbers safe?

Yes. We never sell or share them. Numbers are stored only to send the review request and follow-up. You can delete a customer (and their data) anytime, and you can export the full list as CSV from Settings.

What number will my customers see?

Review requests go out by email from your business’s brand, with a polite follow-up reminder a few days later if the customer hasn’t left a review yet.

Right now every review request is sent by email from your business’s brand, with a polite follow-up a few days later if the customer hasn’t left a review yet. There’s nothing to connect — add a customer with an email address after each job and we handle the rest. SMS sending is coming soon, once carrier registration clears; until then email is the channel, and it works well.

Jobber Beta

When a job is marked complete or closed in Jobber, Tradeloper can automatically create the customer and send the review request — usually within a day of the job finishing. You connect it once from your Settings page, and auto-send stays off until you explicitly turn it on (so you’re always in control of who gets contacted). Jobber support is in beta while we finish marketplace review. Request early access.

Housecall Pro Beta

Same idea as Jobber: when a job is completed in Housecall Pro, Tradeloper can create the customer and fire off the review request automatically. Connect it from Settings, and the auto-send toggle is off by default until you opt in. Housecall Pro support is in beta while we finish review. Request early access.
