How is the score calculated?
It weights the local-ranking levers you can actually control: review count and recency, Google Business Profile completeness and activity (category, hours, photos, posting), whether you reply to reviews, and your star rating. Proximity — how close you are to the searcher — is the biggest factor overall but it's the one thing you can't change, so we leave it out and grade the rest.
