When someone searches “concrete contractor near me”, Google shows three businesses — and they get the calls. Everyone else is invisible.
🛻
The concrete business down the road shows up in Google’s top 3 for every local search, so customers call them first. The difference? 80 reviews and a complete profile — you have 12. You never even know you lost the job.
📱
You mean to ask for a review after every job. But the moment passes, you’re onto the next call, and it never gets done.
⏰
You know you should be on social media. But between jobs, invoices, and the family — when? It just doesn’t happen.
💳
You’ve paid $79/mo for a marketing tool that did nothing — and the contract auto-renewed before you could cancel. You’re done with that.

You’re renting leads from Angi or Thumbtack — and the day you stop paying, they stop coming. The reviews and Google profile you build with Tradeloper are yours to keep.
How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself
Add the customer when the job is done.
Tradeloper emails them your Google review link.
You see the review count move, and hear about a bad one before your customers do.
Say your average job is $150. Tradeloper Starter: $19/month. Win one extra customer off the stronger review count and you’ve covered eight months of Starter. (Rank tracking and the heatmap are Pro, $49/month.) We’re too early to publish an average time-to-first-review we could stand behind — see the real numbers we do have.
Tradeloper is early. We are not going to quote you an average result we cannot stand behind, or testimonials you have no way to check. What we will tell you is exactly what it does today: it emails your customers a review request after each job, tracks your Google review count daily, and tells you when a bad review lands.
If that does not earn its keep, the money-back guarantee is there for precisely that reason.

✨ What makes us different: a full local rank heatmap across your whole service area at one flat price — no per-scan credits. Your best reviews turned into ready-to-post Facebook & Instagram captions, not just Google. And it’s built trade-first — mobile, one-tap, no marketing manager required.
💡 Why the gap? Most other review apps price for teams and pass an agency-style markup on to you. Tradeloper is built lean for the one-van operator and sold direct — so the same work costs a fraction of theirs: Review collection starts at $19/month; the get-found toolkit — local rank tracking, profile scores, job pins, AI posts and the reviews widget — is Pro at $49/month.
Competitor pricing based on publicly listed plans, verified August 2026 (a few not re-verified since June — each comparison page lists its own as-of date and source) and may vary. Feature comparisons reflect core review-collection and social-posting functionality.

Why it matters
Why Google reviews decide which concrete contractors get the call.
When a homeowner is ready to pour a new driveway or patio, they search "concrete contractor near me" and start reading reviews, because a bad pour is a $5,000 mistake set in stone that they cannot undo. Concrete is a big-ticket, once-in-a-decade job, so people do not have a contractor on speed dial - they trust whoever shows up highest on Google with the most five-star reviews and photos of clean, crack-free work. The problem is you finish a beautiful slab, the customer loves it, and they never think to leave a review, so your online reputation lags years behind the quality of your work. Tradeloper asks every customer for a Google review by email the moment the job is done, while the fresh finish is still impressing them. Pro adds the get-found half - rank tracking for the searches that fill your schedule, a geo-grid heatmap of where you show up, and a Google Business Profile score - which is what turns good work into a full calendar instead of a secret.
The numbers behind local rank
Reviews are roughly 16–20% of Google map-pack ranking, and Google now weights recent reviews over older ones.
A complete, active Google Business Profile is about a third of local ranking — category, completeness, and posting activity.

Concrete is a permanent, high-dollar decision - reviews are how homeowners talk themselves into hiring you.
Nobody wants to be the person who paid $6,000 for a driveway that cracks or spalls in two winters. Because the job is expensive and impossible to redo, buyers over-research and lean hard on other people's experiences. A wall of recent five-star reviews that mention neat finishes, honest quotes, and clean job sites does more to close the sale than any bid line item. Tradeloper makes collecting those reviews automatic so your reputation matches your workmanship.
You only get one job per customer per decade, so you live and die by new-customer search.
A plumber sees the same homeowner again in a year. You pour someone's driveway once and may never hear from them again. That means almost every job comes from a stranger who found you on Google, which makes your map-pack rank and review count the whole ballgame. On Pro, Tradeloper tracks where you rank for "concrete contractor near me" and the money searches - driveways, patios, stamped concrete - so you can see if you are actually showing up when new customers look.
Concrete work is seasonal, and a slow ranking climb kills your spring.
You cannot pour in a hard freeze, so much of your year is crammed into the warm months when every homeowner suddenly wants their patio done at once. If you are invisible on Google when that rush hits, you miss the season you cannot get back. Tradeloper helps you build reviews and rank in the off months so you open spring already sitting at the top of the map pack, and on Pro it turns finished pours into AI social posts that keep your name in front of the neighborhood.

Google reviews, explained
How Google review counts actually work.
A lot of people arrive on this page trying to check the rating or review count of one particular business — a concrete contractor they are about to hire, or a competitor across town. Here is how to read those numbers properly and what makes them move.
To be straight with you: Tradeloper is software a business owner runs on their own Google Business Profile. We cannot look a listing up for you, and we do not host a directory of other people’s ratings. The steps below take about ten seconds and work for any business on Google.
Checking any business’s review count yourself
Search the business name together with its town on Google or in Google Maps — the way you would type Solid Ground Concrete & Flatwork followed by the city. The town matters: trade names repeat across the country, and without it you may be reading a different company’s profile entirely.
Read the number beside the stars. The figure in brackets is the total number of reviews published on that Google Business Profile at that moment — not lifetime reviews, and not reviews from Yelp, Facebook or anywhere else. Each platform keeps its own separate count.
Open the reviews and sort by Newest. This is the part most people skip, and it is the most useful. A profile with 400 reviews where the newest is two years old tells you something quite different from one with 60 reviews where the newest is from last week.
Why a profile shows the rating it does
The star rating is a plain average of the reviews currently on the profile. Nine 5-star reviews plus one 1-star average to 4.6. That is why one bad job drags a young profile down hard while an established one barely registers it — and why volume is a defense, not a vanity metric.
A review count can go down, and usually nobody deleted anything. Google removes reviews that break its content policies, and reviews go with a profile when it is merged, moved or closed. A count that drops is normal housekeeping far more often than it is foul play.
Counts are per location, never pooled. A company with three branches has three profiles and three separate review counts, so the one you are reading may cover only the branch nearest you.
Recency is weighted, not just volume. Reviews are roughly 16–20% of what decides the Google map pack, and recent reviews carry more weight than old ones — which is why a steady trickle beats a one-off burst. Source: Whitespark Local Search Ranking Factors, 2026.
Concrete has the longest gap of any trade between finishing a job and the customer really knowing how good it was - a slab has to cure and go through a season first. Asking as you close out the job catches them while the finish still looks its best, which is also while they are most likely to write something.
If the profile you are checking is your own
Then everything above is just the scoreboard, and there is only one way to move it: ask every customer, on every job, while the work is still fresh in their mind. That is the part almost every concrete business stops doing the moment the week gets busy — and it is the job Tradeloper does for you, automatically, by email after each job is closed out.
Review collection starts at $19/month; the get-found toolkit — local rank tracking, profile scores, job pins, AI posts and the reviews widget — is Pro at $49/month.
No credit card. 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan.
How to
How to get Google reviews for a concrete business
Concrete is the trade with the longest gap between finishing the work and the customer being able to use it. That gap is where the review request usually gets lost.
Ask after they have used it, not after the pour
A driveway is judged when the car is parked on it, not when it is roped off. Wait until the cure is done and the barriers are gone.
Finish quality is the whole review
Broom finish, edges, joints, color consistency. Customers cannot judge the mix, but they can see a wavy edge from their kitchen window for the next twenty years.
Set the expectation about cure time up front
Half the frustration in this trade is a customer who did not know they could not drive on it. A customer who was told is a customer who reviews well.
Weather delays are a review risk, not just a schedule risk
A job pushed twice by rain needs an explicit explanation, or the review will be about the delay rather than the slab.
Concrete reaches about 70% of its strength in seven days and full strength at 28. Foot traffic is fine after two days, cars after seven, an RV or a loaded truck not until 28. Below about 50°F it all takes longer. That timeline is the single thing most disputes are really about.

Tradeloper sends the request by email after the job, so a week of cure time does not turn into a forgotten ask.
Get found
The right Google category for a concrete contractors
Primary category
Concrete contractor
Driveways, patios, slabs, sidewalks and stamped work all live here. There is no “Driveway contractor” category, so do not go looking for one.
Watch out
Asphalt contractor and Concrete contractor are different trades to Google and to customers. Pick the material you actually pour as primary.
They do, but only if you ask at the right moment. A finished driveway or stamped patio is something homeowners are proud of and love showing off, so right after the pour cures and they see the result is when they are most willing to write a few nice words. The catch is they will not think to do it on their own - they move on. Tradeloper sends the review request by email automatically when you mark the job done, so you capture that pride while it is fresh instead of chasing people weeks later.
Reviews are only half of getting found. On Pro, Tradeloper also shows you where you rank for searches like "concrete contractor near me," gives you a geo-grid heatmap of the neighborhoods where you show up strong versus where you are invisible, and scores your Google Business Profile so you know what to fix. Pure review tools stop at collecting stars. Tradeloper connects the reviews to actually ranking higher on the map and winning more local jobs.
That is exactly why it matters. When your whole year rides on a smaller number of high-dollar pours, every job you win or lose to a competitor swings your revenue hard. Ranking one spot higher in the map pack and having twenty more five-star reviews than the other guy can be the difference between a booked-out spring and a slow one. Starter is $19/mo for review collection and Pro is $49/mo for the rank tracking and the rest of the get-found tools, both with no contract and a 30-day money-back guarantee, so it pays for itself with a single extra driveway.
Right now review requests go out by email, which works well because homeowners check email for anything tied to a big purchase. SMS review requests are coming soon. Every email points customers straight to your Google review page with one click, so there is no friction and no app to download.
Search the business name together with its town on Google or in Google Maps, then read the number in brackets next to the star rating - that is how many reviews are published on its Google Business Profile right now. Tap that number to read them, and sort by Newest to see how recent they are. One thing to be clear about: Tradeloper cannot look a business up for you. It is software you run on your own Google profile, not a directory of other people's ratings.
Usually nothing sinister. Google removes reviews that break its content policies, and reviews go with a profile when it is merged, moved or closed, so a count can fall without anyone deleting anything themselves. Because the star rating is a plain average of the reviews that remain, a removal can shift the rating as well as the count.
Yes - that is the point of the geo-grid rank heatmap on Pro. Concrete is proximity-driven, and a homeowner three towns over will pick someone closer, so you want to rank in the areas you actually serve. On Pro, Tradeloper maps your rank across a grid of locations so you can see exactly which neighborhoods you dominate and which ones you are missing, then build reviews and job pins to close those gaps. Pro can also auto-post your finished work to Facebook to reinforce that you are the local concrete crew.
Yes — signing up is free and we don’t ask for a card. You get a 14-day free trial: add customers and send real Google review requests right away, so you can watch it actually work before you pay. Rank tracking and AI are capped during the trial — the geo-grid heatmap runs on a sample map instead of your own scan, you get one tracked keyword and one manual rank check, and 3 AI generations in total across posts, photo captions and review replies — and they live on Pro once the trial ends, not on Starter. When the trial ends, pick a plan ($19/month Starter for review collection, or $49/month Pro to keep rank tracking, AI posts and replies) to keep sending — and every paid plan is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can cancel from Settings whenever you like: pick a reason, confirm, done.
That depends on how many jobs you finish, because every completed job is one review request — your job volume sets the pace, not us. We would rather be straight with you than quote an average: Tradeloper is new, and our members are still too few to draw one from honestly — we publish their actual, live review numbers on our results page instead of advertising a figure we cannot stand behind. What we can promise is the mechanism — ask every customer right after the job, follow up once if they don’t act, and watch your review count daily so you can tell inside a couple of weeks whether it is working for you.
No. Email review requests are included in your subscription — no per-message fees, no surprise overages, no matter how many customers you add.
Most aren’t. The request is short, friendly, uses your business name, and reads like it came from you — not a marketing blast. It’s a single polite ask with a one-tap link and an easy opt-out. If you’ve already done good work, customers are usually happy to help.
The email review request arrives in their inbox with a one-tap link — many older customers tap it from a laptop at home. A polite follow-up goes out a few days later if they haven’t left a review yet. If a customer has no email, just ask them in person on your next visit.
Add them whenever you remember. The customer never knows when you set up the request — they just get a review request from you. Whether you add them 10 minutes after the job or 3 days later, it sends as soon as you tap Send. Most owners batch the day’s customers in the evening over a coffee.
Yes. As long as you have the customer’s name and email address and they’ve agreed to be contacted, you can add them. A mobile number is optional today — text requests are coming soon. Plenty of Tradeloper users run mixed residential/commercial books. Use the Notes field on each customer to track which side they’re on if it matters for your workflow.
Asking right after a job well done — when the customer is happiest — is the single biggest lever on review quality, and it is what Tradeloper automates. You can also pause review requests for any individual customer in one tap from your customer list. We never filter who gets asked (that’s illegal under the FTC’s Consumer Review Rule), but timing matters enormously.
