Sound familiar?
Customers can’t hire you if they can’t find you.
When someone searches “junk removal near me”, Google shows three businesses — and they get the calls. Everyone else is invisible.
🛻
The junk removal business down the road shows up in Google’s top 3 for every local search, so customers call them first. The difference? 80 reviews and a complete profile — you have 12. You never even know you lost the job.
📱
You mean to ask for a review after every job. But the moment passes, you’re onto the next call, and it never gets done.
⏰
You know you should be on social media. But between jobs, invoices, and the family — when? It just doesn’t happen.
💳
You’ve paid $79/mo for a marketing tool that did nothing — and the contract auto-renewed before you could cancel. You’re done with that.
🚫
You’re renting leads from Angi or Thumbtack — and the day you stop paying, they stop coming. The reviews and Google profile you build with Tradeloper are yours to keep.
How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself
Add the customer when the job is done.
Tradeloper emails them your Google review link.
You see the review count move, and hear about a bad one before your customers do.
Say your average job is $150. Tradeloper Starter: $19/month. Win one extra customer off the stronger review count and you’ve covered eight months of Starter. (Rank tracking and the heatmap are Pro, $49/month.) We’re too early to publish an average time-to-first-review we could stand behind — see the real numbers we do have.
Tradeloper is early. We are not going to quote you an average result we cannot stand behind, or testimonials you have no way to check. What we will tell you is exactly what it does today: it emails your customers a review request after each job, tracks your Google review count daily, and tells you when a bad review lands.
If that does not earn its keep, the money-back guarantee is there for precisely that reason.

✨ What makes us different: a full local rank heatmap across your whole service area at one flat price — no per-scan credits. Your best reviews turned into ready-to-post Facebook & Instagram captions, not just Google. And it’s built trade-first — mobile, one-tap, no marketing manager required.
💡 Why the gap? Most other review apps price for teams and pass an agency-style markup on to you. Tradeloper is built lean for the one-van operator and sold direct — so the same work costs a fraction of theirs: Review collection starts at $19/month; the get-found toolkit — local rank tracking, profile scores, job pins, AI posts and the reviews widget — is Pro at $49/month.
Competitor pricing based on publicly listed plans, verified August 2026 (a few not re-verified since June — each comparison page lists its own as-of date and source) and may vary. Feature comparisons reflect core review-collection and social-posting functionality.

Why it matters
Why Google reviews decide which junk removal companies get the call.
When a garage is packed to the ceiling or a tenant leaves a house full of stuff behind, people grab their phone and search "junk removal near me" - and they call whoever has the most 5-star reviews and shows up first on the map. Junk removal is almost all one-time jobs, so you can not coast on repeat customers the way a plumber can, which means your Google reputation and your map rank are the whole game. Tradeloper asks every customer for a Google review the moment the truck pulls away and the driveway is clean, so the good feeling turns into a public 5-star before they forget you. On Pro it also tracks where you rank for "junk removal near me" across your service area and scores your Google Business Profile so you climb the map pack. And because every haul is a killer before-and-after, Pro also turns your job photos into social posts that keep your name in front of the whole neighborhood.
The numbers behind local rank
Reviews are roughly 16–20% of Google map-pack ranking, and Google now weights recent reviews over older ones.
A complete, active Google Business Profile is about a third of local ranking — category, completeness, and posting activity.

Almost every job is a one-timer, so reviews are the only thing that compounds.
A cleanout customer may not need you again for years, so you can not build on repeat business alone. Each finished job has to become a public 5-star review that pulls in the next stranger. Tradeloper asks automatically right after the truck leaves, so the wins actually stack up instead of walking away silently.
People are letting a crew of strangers haul stuff out of their home - trust is the entire decision.
Estate cleanouts, garage clear-outs, and hoarding jobs mean opening the house and driveway to your team, often for an elderly parent or a nervous first-timer. A wall of reviews saying you were honest, careful, and cleaned up is what makes them pick you over the cheapest ad. Tradeloper builds that wall one finished job at a time.
You win on speed and proximity, but only if you show up on the map first.
Half of these calls are same-day or next-day, and callers pick the nearest crew that can come now. If a franchise outranks you on the map, you never even get the call. On Pro, Tradeloper tracks your rank for junk removal searches across your area and shows exactly which neighborhoods you are winning or losing.

Google reviews, explained
How Google review counts actually work.
A lot of people arrive on this page trying to check the rating or review count of one particular business — a junk removal company they are about to hire, or a competitor across town. Here is how to read those numbers properly and what makes them move.
To be straight with you: Tradeloper is software a business owner runs on their own Google Business Profile. We cannot look a listing up for you, and we do not host a directory of other people’s ratings. The steps below take about ten seconds and work for any business on Google.
Checking any business’s review count yourself
Search the business name together with its town on Google or in Google Maps — the way you would type Clean Sweep Junk Removal followed by the city. The town matters: trade names repeat across the country, and without it you may be reading a different company’s profile entirely.
Read the number beside the stars. The figure in brackets is the total number of reviews published on that Google Business Profile at that moment — not lifetime reviews, and not reviews from Yelp, Facebook or anywhere else. Each platform keeps its own separate count.
Open the reviews and sort by Newest. This is the part most people skip, and it is the most useful. A profile with 400 reviews where the newest is two years old tells you something quite different from one with 60 reviews where the newest is from last week.
Why a profile shows the rating it does
The star rating is a plain average of the reviews currently on the profile. Nine 5-star reviews plus one 1-star average to 4.6. That is why one bad job drags a young profile down hard while an established one barely registers it — and why volume is a defense, not a vanity metric.
A review count can go down, and usually nobody deleted anything. Google removes reviews that break its content policies, and reviews go with a profile when it is merged, moved or closed. A count that drops is normal housekeeping far more often than it is foul play.
Counts are per location, never pooled. A company with three branches has three profiles and three separate review counts, so the one you are reading may cover only the branch nearest you.
Recency is weighted, not just volume. Reviews are roughly 16–20% of what decides the Google map pack, and recent reviews carry more weight than old ones — which is why a steady trickle beats a one-off burst. Source: Whitespark Local Search Ranking Factors, 2026.
Junk removal has the most dramatic before-and-after in the trades and the shortest relationship to go with it. You are on site for two hours and then gone for good, so there is no second visit to catch the review on - it has to be asked for the same day or not at all.
If the profile you are checking is your own
Then everything above is just the scoreboard, and there is only one way to move it: ask every customer, on every job, while the work is still fresh in their mind. That is the part almost every junk removal business stops doing the moment the week gets busy — and it is the job Tradeloper does for you, automatically, by email after each job is closed out.
Review collection starts at $19/month; the get-found toolkit — local rank tracking, profile scores, job pins, AI posts and the reviews widget — is Pro at $49/month.
No credit card. 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan.
How to
How to get Google reviews for a junk removal business
Junk removal produces the most dramatic before and after of any trade here, and it happens in a couple of hours. Everything about the review is decided in that window.
Ask before you drive away
The garage is empty and the customer is standing in a space they had forgotten existed. That reaction does not survive until the evening.
Take the before photo, always
Within a week the customer cannot remember how bad it was. The photo is what makes them write something more specific than "good service".
Say where it went
Recycled, donated, tipped. Customers increasingly care, and it is the detail that separates you from a man with a van.
Clearances are often emotional jobs
House clearances after a bereavement need a different tone entirely. Do not send a cheerful request the same afternoon.
Industry diversion rates run somewhere between 40% and 70% — but no hauler is required to report them, and the widely quoted “60% diverted” figures are self-reported with no independent audit. Which is exactly why telling one customer where their sofa actually went is worth more than any number on a website.
Junk removal industry guidance (Junkluggers, National Junk Removal Authority, Dropcurb), read 2026-08-25. Diversion figures are self-reported industry-wide — stated on the page WITH that caveat rather than as a clean number. · as of August 2026
Tradeloper emails the request after the job so a same-day clearance still gets asked, without you having to remember.

The right Google category for a junk removal companies
Primary category
Junk removal service
This one genuinely exists, which surprises people who have been told to settle for Garbage collection service.
Watch out
Garbage collection service reads to Google as municipal or contracted waste pickup. It is a poor primary for a two-guys-and-a-truck operation.
Yes - people are genuinely relieved to get a full garage or an estate cleaned out, and that relief is the perfect moment to ask. The trick is timing. Tradeloper sends the request right after the job is done and the space is clear, while the before-and-after is still fresh, which is when people are most willing to leave a 5-star.
On Pro it tracks where you show up on the Google map for junk removal searches across your service area, not just at your address, so you can see the neighborhoods where you are already the top call and the ones where a franchise is beating you. Pro also gives you a geo-grid heatmap of your rank block by block, plus a score for your Google Business Profile with the exact fixes that move you up the map pack.
Both. Plenty of tools only chase reviews. Tradeloper does the reviews on Starter and the get-found half on Pro - local rank tracking, a Google Business Profile optimization score, job pins on a map, and turning your hauls into social posts. Reviews build trust, ranking gets you seen, and together they win more of the jobs in your area.
Absolutely, and you should - a stuffed garage next to an empty clean one is some of the best content in the trades. On Pro, Tradeloper turns your job photos into ready-to-share social posts and can auto-post them to your Facebook Page, so a great cleanout keeps working for you long after the truck is unloaded.
Search the business name together with its town on Google or in Google Maps, then read the number in brackets next to the star rating - that is how many reviews are published on its Google Business Profile right now. Tap that number to read them, and sort by Newest to see how recent they are. One thing to be clear about: Tradeloper cannot look a business up for you. It is software you run on your own Google profile, not a directory of other people's ratings.
Usually nothing sinister. Google removes reviews that break its content policies, and reviews go with a profile when it is merged, moved or closed, so a count can fall without anyone deleting anything themselves. Because the star rating is a plain average of the reviews that remain, a removal can shift the rating as well as the count.
Today Tradeloper sends review requests by email, which lands reliably and keeps your costs down. SMS review requests are coming soon. Either way the ask is automatic after each job, so you are not chasing people down for a review while you are trying to load the next truck.
Yes — signing up is free and we don’t ask for a card. You get a 14-day free trial: add customers and send real Google review requests right away, so you can watch it actually work before you pay. Rank tracking and AI are capped during the trial — the geo-grid heatmap runs on a sample map instead of your own scan, you get one tracked keyword and one manual rank check, and 3 AI generations in total across posts, photo captions and review replies — and they live on Pro once the trial ends, not on Starter. When the trial ends, pick a plan ($19/month Starter for review collection, or $49/month Pro to keep rank tracking, AI posts and replies) to keep sending — and every paid plan is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can cancel from Settings whenever you like: pick a reason, confirm, done.
That depends on how many jobs you finish, because every completed job is one review request — your job volume sets the pace, not us. We would rather be straight with you than quote an average: Tradeloper is new, and our members are still too few to draw one from honestly — we publish their actual, live review numbers on our results page instead of advertising a figure we cannot stand behind. What we can promise is the mechanism — ask every customer right after the job, follow up once if they don’t act, and watch your review count daily so you can tell inside a couple of weeks whether it is working for you.
No. Email review requests are included in your subscription — no per-message fees, no surprise overages, no matter how many customers you add.
Most aren’t. The request is short, friendly, uses your business name, and reads like it came from you — not a marketing blast. It’s a single polite ask with a one-tap link and an easy opt-out. If you’ve already done good work, customers are usually happy to help.
The email review request arrives in their inbox with a one-tap link — many older customers tap it from a laptop at home. A polite follow-up goes out a few days later if they haven’t left a review yet. If a customer has no email, just ask them in person on your next visit.
Add them whenever you remember. The customer never knows when you set up the request — they just get a review request from you. Whether you add them 10 minutes after the job or 3 days later, it sends as soon as you tap Send. Most owners batch the day’s customers in the evening over a coffee.
Yes. As long as you have the customer’s name and email address and they’ve agreed to be contacted, you can add them. A mobile number is optional today — text requests are coming soon. Plenty of Tradeloper users run mixed residential/commercial books. Use the Notes field on each customer to track which side they’re on if it matters for your workflow.
Asking right after a job well done — when the customer is happiest — is the single biggest lever on review quality, and it is what Tradeloper automates. You can also pause review requests for any individual customer in one tap from your customer list. We never filter who gets asked (that’s illegal under the FTC’s Consumer Review Rule), but timing matters enormously.
